LG Optimus Chic E720 Available in Europe Priced Euro 282.89 [5MP Camera, Android 2.2, DLNA, 600 MHz CPU]

The LG Optimus Chic E720 smartphone is available in Europe and will be released in South Korea in a couple of days from today. With a 600 MHz processor under the hood, it is not exactly a beast but still very decent, it’s enough power to harness all the basic features out of a phone. And it’s Android 2.2 upgradable to Gingerbread.

It has been spotted at Amazon Germany where it is listed for Euro 282.89 or $376, which means that the Chic costs $100 more than its predecessor – LG Optimus One. And in return for the extra amount you get a “chic” form factor, a 5MP camera, and DLNA certification. Sporting a fairly large 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen the Chic E720 offers connectivity via 3G, WLAN, and Bluetooth and data through GPRS and EDGE networks.

The model, available in black, red, and white has been cleared by the FCC but there is no word on pricing and availability as yet.
