Idolian TouchTab10 Tablet Launched [1GHz Cortex A8 Chip, Android 2.3, WiFi, Android Market]
Idolian has launched the TouchTab10 tablet, a bigger cousin of the 7-inch TurboTab S by the same company. It is currently selling for a promotional price of $239.99. Specs-wise it is a budget tablet that offers more than what you pay for it. It has all the makings of a very good holiday season purchase.
The TouchTab10 is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 chipset and has 512MB RAM. The 10-inch capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It’s got WiFi but no GPS and Bluetooth. The 2MP front-facing camera is nothing to write home about but you can have a decent video chat with it. The above mentioned shortcomings are understandable because this is a mid-priced tablet, it has not been developed with an intention to challenge the iPad. It comes loaded with a flash player, G-Sensor, and a 3000mAh battery with a life of up to 6 hours.
You get up to 4GB internal storage boosted by another 16GB via microSD.
