The Lenovo K800 seen at the CES 2012 scores a first. It is the first Android smartphone that will run either the Intel Medfield SoC or the 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2460.
The K800 is is all likelihood going to see the light of day only in China when it will come out in Q2, 2012. The phone has a 4.5-inch screen with 720+ display, and will run Android 4.0. It will carry an 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash. There will be a front camera as well. The K800 will sport a rather unique feature WiDi – it will enable wireless streaming of the phone’s content to other devices, rather like DLNA. HSPA+ connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and aGPS are other features worth mentioning.
