Sony MicroVault Series USB Storage from Available March Onward
The Sony MicroVault series of USB storage will be available from March onwards in three new ranges – USM-Q, USM-P and USM-M.
USM-Q can be considered to be the flagship model with USB 3.0 and backward compatible with USB 2.0. The drive sports a hairline metal body finish, a click mechanism for slotting the USB drive and an LED indicator. The drive is Windows and Mac compatible. It is available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB capacities.
User-friendly features on the USM-Q include -
- Device-drive identification
- File recovery [but not for copy protected data and game data files]
- Slideshow software
- Auto synchronization with a computer
USM-P is an easy to use model for daily use but without the security software. This USB2.0 drive is available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage. It is a Windows and Mac-compatible USB storage drive. The USM-M series is available in a a thin form factor and can be color co-ordinated with your PC if you like.
Pricing begins as follows – $15.99 for the USM-M series, $29.99 for the USM-P series and $44.99 for the USM-Q series.
