Swift7 and Swift10 Tablets from Chinon USA
Chinon USA has introduced two new tablets – the Swift7 and Swift10. Both tablets are powered by a Cortex-A8 Core 1.2GHz processor. The former comes with 512MB DDR3 RAM whereas the latter has 1GB DDR3 RAM. Both run Android 2.3.
The 7-inch screen on the Swift7 has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels, a 4:3 display ratio and a capacitive touch panel. It has 4GB of internal storage. The Swift10 has a 9.7-inch screen with IPS technology and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It also boasts a 10-point capacitive multi-touch panel and 8GB internal storage.
Features common to both tablets include 32GB external storage via microSD cards, G-sensor, built-in cameras, WiFi, 3G, 2 USB slots, support for E-books and more.
The SWIFT7 costs $159.99 and the SWIFT10 is priced at $279.99. These are budget tablets but bring with them the promise of feature-packed performance. I guess these are ideal for those venturing into the world of portable tablet PCs for the first time and do not wish to be bothered with expensive tablets and the “hassle” of updates to newer versions of the operating system.
