Verizon to Sell Droid 3 for a Slashed Price of $99 on 2-year Contract

The impending arrival of DROID 4 has prompted Motorola to sell its elder cousin the DROID 3 for $99; which is a straight $100 drop from the earlier $199 contract pricing for two years. These are new plans, of course. You get free shipping with the online purchase.

The DROID 3 was a classy QWERTY slider-phone when it came out in July last year. It still is but it does not support LTE and that’s where the money and enticement is for the big wireless networks. This was an Android 2.3 phone powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor. It also boasts an 8MP camera. So, if these specs satisfy your requirements then Verizon has just the phone for you.
