These are new plans, of course. You get free shipping with the online purchase.

The DROID 3 was a classy QWERTY slider-phone when it came out in July last year. It still is but it does not support LTE and that’s where the money and enticement is for the big wireless networks. This was an Android 2.3 phone powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor. It also boasts an 8MP camera. So, if these specs satisfy your requirements then Verizon has just the phone for you.

It is touted as the fastest and the biggest Nokia phone till date.

The Mobile World Congress next month will definitely clear the air a lot more regarding the U.S availability of Nokia Lumia 900. Looks like AT&T should brace for a lot of cross-overs from other wireless providers to its roster. That’s the Nokia Lumia effect for you.

According to folks intimate with Apples iPad 3 plans, the new iPad will work with the latest wireless protocols, be powered by a faster processor, and have a screen with a higher resolution.

The iPad 3 tablet is set for a March debut and will most likely be powered by a quad-core processor. The tablet’s compatibility with the Long Term Evolution [LTE] wireless networks should be a boost for its sales. Providers such as AT&T and Verizon are going all out to spread their LTE network across the country. Additional graphics processing power will enable instant video playing.

The reason why Apple has gone with the tablet for introducing LTE is that the device has a larger battery that can better support the energy consumption that comes with this wireless technology.

The 7-inch screen on the Swift7 has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels, a 4:3 display ratio and a capacitive touch panel. It has 4GB of internal storage. The Swift10 has a 9.7-inch screen with IPS technology and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It also boasts a 10-point capacitive multi-touch panel and 8GB internal storage.

Features common to both tablets include 32GB external storage via microSD cards, G-sensor, built-in cameras, WiFi, 3G, 2 USB slots, support for E-books and more.

The SWIFT7 costs $159.99 and the SWIFT10 is priced at $279.99. These are budget tablets but bring with them the promise of feature-packed performance. I guess these are ideal for those venturing into the world of portable tablet PCs for the first time and do not wish to be bothered with expensive tablets and the “hassle” of updates to newer versions of the operating system.

The 4.3-inch touchscreen on the device is large enough to comfortably display all music-related data and also to let you enjoy the web and smooth gaming. An NVIDIA 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, the world’s first mobile dual-core CPU, powers this Android 2.3 PMP. A micro HDMI out lets you enjoy stored content on larger screens. The lack of a slot for external storage; however, is conspicuous by its absence. Transfer of data can happen through WiFi and Bluetooth. You can use this DLNA PMP to wirelessley stream music to other devices.

The Sprint LG Viper 4G LTE smartphone has been seen at the CES 2012 and while the company has not been very forthcoming with the specs, these have been scooped by the good folk at Sprintfeed.

The 4-inch screen has a WVGA NOVA display, the phone runs Android 3.2 and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. 512MB of RAM and a 5MP rear camera point to a mid-priced Android handset. This said, the phone features are pretty decent. For instance, this is the first eco-friendly 4G LTE device on the Sprint network. It supports Near Field Communication (NFC)and comes with Sprint ID for Android phones that offers a high degree of personalization for your handsets. The camera in question supports 720p video capture. A 1,700 mAh battery runs inside. No word on the talk-time on a single charge. Interestingly, Sprint chose to term the model on display a prototype. The Viper supports Google Wallet.

No word on release date and pricing, but we’ll surely let you know as and when the news breaks.
