Samsung has put up details of the Samsung Gem on its website. This one has the specs of a budget smartphone. It is powered by an 800MHz CPU, runs Android 2.1, and is termed CDMA generic by Samsung; however intelligent speculation points to the Samsung Gem heading for Verizon.
