The Kyobo e-reader comes out of South Korea with a 5.7-inch XGA display, runs Android 2.3 and is powered by a 1.0-Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor. The EB-850R made an appearance at Computex Taipei today. It is a color ebook reader by ECS and boasts a lot of features; can’t say the same for its specs. It has an 8-inch resistive touchscreen with screen clarity of 800 x 600 pixels.

On Saturday 11th December, Sony unveiled a 13.3 e-paper ereading technology that garnered positive reviews all around even though very little is known about what actually constitutes the device. The display took place at the Eco-Products 2010 exhibition held in Tokyo, Japan from 9th – 11th December.

Odys, from Germany, will be releasing the Genesis e-reader next week. It will cost €279. The color e-reader can double as a tablet which means you can surf the net, browse videos and do everything that you would with a tablet. The Genesis has an 8.4-inch screen with 800 x 600 resolution.
